Wait, What?  I had no idea that different brands of eyelash curlers could make such a difference on my lashes. I always thought an eyelash curler was just that, an eyelash curler. I mean, I had seen curlers for up to $30! (totally unnecessary, I used to think). It was not until recently that I learned there is an actual difference in the curl and longevity!

If you follow me on Instagram you are probably aware that I stopped doing eyelash extensions for a bit to give Latisse (an ophthalmic solution for eyelash growth) a try. It has been a few weeks now and the length of my lashes is definitely increasing. So, I got me a new lash mascara and a $5 eyelash curler. Now, I felt ready to rock my newly improved lashes.

I love a well curled lash so when doing my eye makeup, I would curl them in three parts. Bottom, middle and ends. I would repeat these steps twice or three times until obtaining the curl desired. Then, I would move on to applying my lash primer and mascara. These prime results were on temporary.

It almost seemed unbelievable that after curling my lashes multiple times, they would be sticking straight out again in no time! So, I did a bit of research. It involved a trip to Sephora, very scientific of me I know. I debated between the Tart Cosmetics and the Shiseido eyelash curlers. Never have I ever have paid $22 for an eyelash curler but desperate times called for desperate measures and did it. I brought home the Shiseido Eyelash Curler.

Well, I’m embarrassed to say this gals, but I feel like I have been living under a rock all these years…This curler is A-MAZING! It doesn’t compare AT ALL with my old $5 curler.

If you haven’t “updated” your curler in a while, give one of these reviewed lash curlers a try. You might just find a new favorite that keeps your lashes curled all day long!
